<strong>Rarely Seen Shuttle Pre-Flight Activities...</strong>

These following pictures show the amount of thought and engineering that goes into the whole launch process. After looking at the pictures you will know why there’s a good period of time between shuttle launches...

I keep thinking of apollo8 and shot of the earth rising over the moon and the words "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth"
God created mankind in his image so we too create and we will go forth there is no looking back there is no more senator proxmires, and no osama bin laden will get in our way we will expore ,settle and grow tall where the stars whisper to each other where no ear can hear. God is with us as we look after his creation and see the Glory of his handiwork in the heavens and in each other. Remember your attitude determins your altitude and as Jesus said "with God all things are possible" so have faith in God and each other and expect micirles as we in prayer walk humbly with God and in accordance with His will of mercy ask what you will and as Jesus said greater miricles than these you will see..." this is just the beginning of space exploration we aint seen nothing yet! as Louie Armstrong sang in his last song "what a wonderfull world"

"wow". You mean the shuttle doesn't just suddenly materialize on the launch pad? This doesn't show mission design & planning, engineering, physics, etc. behind the program. MOST of the work is done in a room of whiteboards and notepads, not all this "sexy" reassembling of the shuttle.

It just kills me to see so many people think that going to space is a waste of time and money... Goto some sites and read...

http://www.thespaceplace.com/nasa/spinoffs.html
http://www.questacon.edu.au/html/assets/pdf/Space%20innovations.pdf

Hundreds of thousands of products we use derived from scientists creating things for our astronauts.

There are still idiots that believe we never been to space!!! LOL Buy a telescope stupid!! I have seen the shuttle and space station orbiting overhead myself through my telescope.
